Grace Church offers several ways for you to make secure online donations or other payments using these different methods:
AUTOMATIC BANK PAY
You may set this up with your bank or financial institution. Check with them for details on their online banking features.
(zellpay.com) – Allows you to easily transfer funds directly from your bank to Grace’s bank without any fee. Most major banks support Zelle, including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, and USBank. Once you are enrolled in Zelle you can select our special email GPCZelle@gmail.com to send money directly Grace’s bank account. Please include a memo entry describing the purpose of your donation. Online Giving to Grace – Quick, easy and secure with our widely used online portal. Contributions can be made using a credit card or transfer from your bank checking/savings account. Similar to shopping or paying bills online, it is simple and convenient to make a donation or tithe through our giving portal. You will not pay any fees with online giving, however, Grace does incur minimal transaction fees when receiving online donations. To contribute stock to Grace, there are three easy steps:
- Contact your broker to arrange the transfer. Be sure to indicate that you want to transfer shares, and not to sell and give cash.
- Shares should be transferred to the church’s Charles Schwab account. Call or email the church office or Treasurer for account details.
- Call or email the Treasurer to notify the stock has been transferred and who the stock is coming from.

How to Give a gift, bequest or endowment to Grace Church
Together with your personal advisors you create any documents that make Grace Presbyterian Church a beneficiary. We can also put you in touch with a representative of the Presbyterian Foundation who is available for consultation. The Presbyterian Foundation offers Charitable Trusts. These advisors can acquaint you with the tax benefits which may be achieved through careful advance planning.
A Gift is a voluntary transfer of an item of value — cash, securities, real estate, insurance policies — without consideration, made during one’s lifetime. It can be made for general purposes ( undesignated, or unrestricted, meaning the church can determine the best use) or designated for a certain purpose.
A Bequest, or Legacy is a voluntary transfer of an item of value, without consideration, left in a will and received from an estate or trust. Such gifts can also be designated or undesignated. One broad designation is endowment.
An Endowment is a gift wherein the principal is invested and the income from the investment is distributed according to the intent of the donor. Grace Presbyterian Church’s Endowment Fund was established in 1992. Within our Endowment Fund are nine different categories so that donors can designate support to certain areas of work at Grace Church. Examples: Music, Mission,
A Charitable Trust is an investment opportunity that pays income during your lifetime, with assets passing to the church upon your death. Grace Church offers various charitable trust plans and charitable gift annuities through the Presbyterian Foundation.
Estate Planning and Planned Giving are general terms which refer to planning in advance with advisors and may include any of the options listed above. Planned Giving may be able to improve the tax position of donors and their heirs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I make other payments online?
Yes. For instance, you can make donations for pledges, gifts (e.g. memorial), special offerings, flowers, food bank, facility campaigns, etc. Please be sure to specify the purpose of your donation in the Fund and Note boxes. Any payments not specified will be assumed to be for Grace’s General Operating Fund.
Is it safe to give online?
Yes. Grace is using Ministry Brand’s software for membership, giving, financials, and online giving portal. They provide Cristian software solutions across North America helping more than 115,000 churches and faith-based organizations thrive in a digital world.
What types of accounts can I give from?
You can give from your bank checking/savings accounts or using your credit card including Discover, Mastercard, VISA and America Express.
Are there any fees involved?
The giver does not pay any fees with online giving, however Grace does incur minimal transaction fees of 2.6% + $0.39/ transaction when receiving online donations. As defined by IRS regulations, the giver gets tax credit for their full donation. The system does give you the option of donating the transaction fee of 2.6%.
What are my frequency options for a recurring payment?
For recurring gifts, you will have the option of giving weekly, biweekly, twice/month, monthly, quarterly or annually. You also have the option of specifying how many recurring gifts you want to give and the start date.
How do I change or cancel my recurring payment?
You specify the number of recurring gifts you want to give. If you need to change this later, please contact the Treasurer and we will ensure cancellation.
